A classic herbal formula to alleviate menstrual discomfort.
100ml in an amber glass bottle.
Before the Rockefellers took over control of the medical profession in the early 1900s in order to create a monopolistic source of revenue from their petrochemical-derived pharmaceuticals, physicians, herbalists, homeopaths, and eclectics most often made use of plants and other natural substances to cure their patients. Typically, these were based on the wisdom and discoveries of ancient folk medicine. In the United States, this would include the ancient and potent knowledge of plant remedies accumulated by the Native Americans.
Our Menstrual Relief Tincture is based on a classic herbal formula that was used with great success from the late 1800s and is still used to this day by those who are aware of its existence. This tincture may be taken to complement our Female Tonic oxymel when experiencing pain or discomfort during the menstrual cycle.
Additional healing measures which might be explored (to be taken at a different time of day from this tincture) are a drink of hot water once or twice per day, into which one stirs one tablespoon of organic, unsulphured blackstrap molasses and one tablespoon or organic, unpasteurised apple cider vinegar. This may be taken either on a regular basis or commencing several days before the start of menstruation. Similarly, a tea made from red raspberry leaves will be found beneficial. This is a natural food supplement and its intended purpose is not to diagnose, prevent, treat, nor cure any form of disease. Food supplements should not be taken as an alternative to a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. If you are experiencing any symptoms it is important to consult a qualified health professional. Pregnant women should consult their health care professional before taking herbal products.
Usage: Invert and shake well before use. Take 5–15 ml diluted in warm water 3–4 times daily for severe cramping. Store in a cool, dark place.

For many years when I was young and didn't know any better I would run and grab a couple of painkillers at the first sign of my monthly cramps. This went on for years until I became more aware about health and my body and then I decided to wean myself off them. After a while I found that my symptoms improved a bit each month and I didn't feel like I needed to take anything for it anymore. However, there definitely was/is a day or two each month where the feeling of discomfort makes me want to take myself off and rest. Now, I know that's what women are supposed to do but unfortunately in modern society it's hard to dedicate that time. So, to be introduced to this tincture was wonderful as it feels like it's giving my body the nourishment needed to be able to carry on at this time without the physical rest. A wonderful, warming taste full of loving energy to honour the female body. I'm a couple of month's in now and I'd definitely recommend it!
