Lung Tonic No. 12

Lung Tonic No. 12 is a synergistic combination of herbs which possess an affinity for the lungs and pulmonary system. It was formulated not only by reference to the traditional usage of master herbalists over thousands of years, but also a detailed analysis of the subtle wave characteristics of each selected herb. In this manner, we have included a range of herbs intended to combat various forms of infection, congestion, lung pathology, and breathing difficulties.

Using proprietary techniques, we then amplify the wave emissions of these herbs to maximise their potency as they steep in organic apple cider vinegar for several weeks. The final infusion is then blended with raw, organic honey to create a therapeutic tonic or elixir, known to the ancients as an “oxymel”.

Usage: Invert and shake well before use. Take 15ml diluted in half a glass of water, 1-3 times per day or more frequently as needed. 15ml is equal to one tablespoon or around two dessert spoons.

To compliment the Lung Tonic, one may take our Lung Support Herbal Tea - a synergistic blend of traditional herbs for lung health and respiratory function. To maximise organic tissue salt reserves and therefore resistance to illness and infection, we recommend the regular consumption of our Winter Tea blend in addition to the use of our tonics and elixirs. • Organic mullein, organic hyssop, organic red sage, organic thyme, organic lungwort, wildcrafted sanicle, wildcrafted pleurisy root, organic coltsfoot, organic horehound, organic elecampane root, organic marshmallow root, organic elderberries, organic ginger root and organic cayenne pepper infused in raw organic apple cider vinegar.
• Raw organic thyme honey.

We used raw organic thyme honey to make the Lung Tonic No. 12. This is a light creamy tasting herb flower honey which has a soft and subtle herbal taste. This variety of thyme honey comes from the northern mountain ranges of Madrid in Spain known as Sierra De Guadarrama. The honey is produced by the bees of Antonio Simone, a 4th generation beekeeper who takes pride in producing honey in a traditional way without adding or taking away anything. His beekeeping practices and the land he has his hives on have been certified as organic by the Committee of Organic Agriculture in Madrid. Our organic, raw apple cider vinegar (with the mother) comes from a 300 year old orchard in the UK with 48 apple varieties.
